Learn about the local Battle of Crooked Billet, the last and largest skirmish of the winter campaign of the Pennsylvania militia. Presenter Denis Cooke will share the story of the event, information about General John Lacey’s militia assignment, the aftermath of this surprise attack, and a bit of history about Lacey’s life post-battle.

Presenter Denis J. Cooke, I., lawyer and independent researcher, grew up in Bucks County and has been studying the American Revolution in Bucks and Montgomery County since high school.
