Did you know that, after April 8, Pennsylvania won’t experience another total solar eclipse until the year 2144? If you didn’t, join us for this educational presentation to break down the mystery of solar eclipses and prepare to experience the one happening on April 8. Learn why and how solar eclipses occur, discover the differences between solar and lunar eclipses, and understand the importance of safety and accessibility. Presented by Paul Broccardi, Senior Astronomy Student at Arcadia University
Attendees will also receive eclipse glasses provided by the Space Science Institute with funding from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation during the program.
