Following the Friends Business Meeting, Thomas J. Wieckowski will present “John Wanamaker: King of Merchants.”

This presentation will review the accomplishments and exciting life of this notable citizen of Philadelphia and the Chelten Hills, and the Lindenhurst estate that was the center of many of John Wanamaker’s life events. This presentation is based on the 2009 book Making Marathon by Thomas J. Wieckowski.
