Moonlight Painting Workshop with Anita Thompson – Feb. 18

Pick up one of our Adult Art Kits and join us via Zoom for a step-by-step tutorial on how to paint a beautiful moonlight landscape with Anita Thompson.

Zoom class is approximately 2 hours long. Registration is limited to 20. Kits can be picked up during Contactless Pick Up Hours from Monday, February 8 to Wednesday, February 17.

Registration is required. 

Supplies provided:

  • 11×14 Canvas
  • Pencil with an eraser
  • 3 paint brushes for acrylic paint (1 flat brush, 1 round brush, 1 fan brush)
  • 3 acrylic paint colors (black, white, and dark teal)

What you will need to provide:

  • Palette (a paper plate will do)
  • Plastic cup for water
  • Paper towels for wiping brushes

Anita Thompson bio: Anita wanted to be an artist since the age of 5. Her love of drawing led her to continue drawing courses in school and in private lessons, starting at age 12. She continued her lessons throughout her school years, majored in art in college with a focus on painting and illustration, and received her BFA at Rowan University in the year 2000. Anita focused on her love of illustrating children’s books, and became a published Illustrator with 4 children’s books from two independent publishers. Anita now teaches art workshops to children, teens, and adults in libraries throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
