HV Library Updates on Reopening
Dear Huntingdon Valley Library Patrons,
Per the Governor’s orders, Montgomery County has moved to the Yellow Phase today, June 5.
For Huntingdon Valley Library, this means that the Library Staff will be able to enter the building for the first time since March 13. Although Staff will be allowed in the building on June 5th, the library will remain closed to the public for the next few weeks. All items currently checked out have a due date of July 15. If you want to return items, you may use the outside book drop. Please be aware that it may take up to a week for us to check your items in.
The Library Staff will be making changes to the building and our service models to ensure the health and safety of all who enter the building. We will be quarantining and processing returned items, moving furniture and workstations to ensure social distancing, and developing a plan to provide contactless pickups.
We are extremely excited to begin the process of reopening the library! Please visit our website at hvlibrary.org for updates.
We look forward to seeing you again, at a safe distance.
Sincerely,
Pam Dull
Library Director
