Family Programs
Learn About Lunar New Year
The Greater Philadelphia Chinese Cultural Center will share a Lunar New Year presentation and cultural dance performance to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Following the performance, there will be hands-on activities such as paper cutting, calligraphy, and origami.

Lower Moreland Township Spring Egg Hunt
Come meet Peter Rabbit and collect eggs filled with candy and prizes! Please bring your own bag or basket. Arrive early to park and get your picture taken with Peter Rabbit. Eggs go quickly.

Game Show: USA
Bright Star Touring Theatre presents this delightfully wacky game show, where you’ll test your knowledge of all things USA. This fun-filled trivia game celebrates America’s 250th birthday, complete with patriotic prizes.

Kit’s Interactive Theatre presents Colonial Faire – 1737
Enjoy this interactive play that depicts the arduous life of early America as well as the revelry. Though days of rest are few, today is the day of the Colonial Faire. Help indentured servant Katie Cotswold finish her chores so all may skip off to the faire. Partake in games and frolics where merriment abounds just before the rollicking Maypole dance!

Make Your Own World Writing Workshop
Join Kiddie Authors Organization to design your own world, spend time in your world by writing a story, and finish off with a fun game.

New and practicing readers will be partnered with a teen volunteer to select books and read together.

Art with Anita for Kids (Virtual) – Turtle Painting
Join Miss Anita via Zoom as she provides step-by-step instructions on how to create your own painting of a cute turtle under the sea using acrylics.

Soap Making for Preteens
Experiment with fragrance and color while making your own melt-and-pour soap to take home. Gift wrapping materials will be available to package your creation for a friend or loved one.

Mini Monument Challenge for Preteens
Work together in teams using simple tools and materials to complete mini models of U.S. monuments in time before they are scored by our judges. Winners will earn a small prize.

Join Mad Science of New Jersey to explore, create, and play with polymers. Children will make their own slime to take home.
