2024 Annual Appeal
As we look ahead to 2025, we invite you to join us in honoring the legacy of Nancy Hensler, a beloved member of our library family who dedicated 20 years to fostering a love of reading among children at HVL. Nancy’s creativity brought joy to countless storytimes and inspired many young writers with her Write and Illustrate Contest. In her memory, we are establishing the Nancy Hensler Memorial Speakers Fund, which will allow us to bring engaging authors and speakers to our community, igniting the imaginations of young readers just as Nancy did.
Additionally, we are proud to continue our partnership with the Literacy Council of Norristown to offer ESL classes that empower neighbors in our community to thrive. These classes have transformed lives. Your support will ensure that we can reach even more learners seeking to improve their English skills and enhance their opportunities.
Finally, we are committed to maintaining and updating our infrastructure and study spaces to create a welcoming and conducive environment for all. Your contributions to our General Fund will directly support these vital improvements, ensuring our library remains a vibrant and accessible space for learning and collaboration.
