Join us for the last book club event for Juvenile Fiction readers of the school year! We will discuss award-winning contemporary realistic fiction novel Song for a Whale by Lynne Kelly,which was chosen at the March book club event.

Wednesday, April 23
6:30 – 7:30 pm

Twelve-year-old Iris and her grandmother, both deaf, drive from Texas to Alaska armed with Iris’s plan to help Blue-55, a whale unable to communicate with other whales.

Check out a copy of the book at our Circulation Desk any time before the event. The group will also enjoy a book-related craft or activity.

This book club recommended for students in grades 4-6.
