Ned Hector is a free black man noted for his courage during the retreat from the Battle of Brandywine. Hear about his daring the battle, learn about his uniform and soldier’s kit, and get carried away by his enthusiasm for his country and his own fight for liberty.


Ned Hector is portrayed by Noah Lewis – American Historical Theatre.
