The True Story of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Thurs., Oct. 23, 7 pm

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow was created by the macabre imagination of Washington Irving’s experiences and research, but few people know the truth behind the story. This lecture discusses one of America’s oldest short stories based on real events that took place in the Hudson Valley of New York during the American Revolution.
