Join us for the last book club event for early chapter book readers of the school year! We will discuss Pura Belpré Award winner Juana & Lucas, the first book in the series, by Juana Medina, which was chosen at the March book club.

Wednesday, April 9
5-6 pm

A spunky young girl from Colombia loves playing with her canine best friend and resists boring school activities, especially learning English, until her family tells her that a special trip is planned to an English-speaking place.

Check out a copy of the book at our Circulation Desk. The group will also enjoy a book-related craft or activity.

This book club is for students in grades 1-3.
