Reading Buddies Returns February 7

Join us for our Reading Buddies program, perfect for new and practicing readers!

Weekly on Tuesdays
2 sessions: 4:30-5 pm & 5-5:30 pm
February 7, 14, 21, 28; March 7, 14

During each Reading Buddies session, young readers will be partnered with a Teen Advisory Board volunteer. Together, buddies will choose books, find a cozy spot in the library, and take turns reading aloud. This program is for new, aspiring readers as well as kids looking to practice their reading skills. It is recommended for students in grades K-3.

Participants will meet in the Children’s area to be partnered with a high school volunteer. HVL Youth Services staff will be available to assist and encourage.

Registration for each session is required. Please register each child separately and for only one session each day.
