Summer Learning Program Registration Kick-Off

Stop by our Summer Learning Program Registration Table during one of our Kick-Off times!

Visit us in the courtyard in front of the library to learn all about our Summer Learning Program, Oceans of Possibilities! During these drop-in hours, we will help you sign up for our program and show you all of the great features in Beanstack. Youth Services staff will be available to help you sign up for events, recommend books, and answer any questions you have about our programs.

Teen volunteers will be on hand to make the kids a balloon animal or create a quick hand painting. You’ll also be able to pick up a folder* full of Summer Learning materials, coupons for Dairy Queen and Lee’s Hoagie House, and some small goodies for joining our Summer Learning challenge.

Feel free to drop by anytime during any of the following two-hour windows this week to say hello.** We can’t wait to see you!

  • Monday, June 20 from 4-6 pm
  • Wednesday, June 22 from 4:30-6:30 pm
  • Saturday, June 25 from 2-4 pm

*Summer Learning Program folders will be available for youth from birth to those entering grade 12 in the fall. Though there is a Summer Learning challenge for the adults, there is no special Summer Learning folder available for this age group.

**Please note that patrons may also sign up for our Summer Learning Program anytime (starting June 20) online at https://hvlibrary.beanstack.org/reader365, and may sign up in person to receive their folder at the Circulation Desk during the library’s open hours. Balloon animals and hand painting will only be available at the Kick-Off tables during the times above.
