Contactless Pick-Up Now Available

Starting Monday, June 15th, the Huntingdon Valley Library will offer Contactless Pick-Up Services.

The building will not be open to the public. As a result, we cannot offer copying, faxing, or computer services at this time.

You may request materials by logging in to your account in the catalog, calling 215-947-5138 or emailing hvl.circ@gmail.com. For instructions on requesting items from home, click here.

 

Hours for Contactless Pick-Up service are as follows:

  • Wednesday 10 AM – 12 PM
  • Thursday 5 PM – 7 PM
  • Friday 2 PM – 4 PM
  • Saturday 10 AM – 12 PM

When your materials become available, you will receive a phone call from a staff member to schedule a pick-up time.

If you miss our phone call, you may call the library or schedule a pick up time using our Events Calendar by clicking here. For more detailed instructions on how to schedule a time from home, click here.

If you miss your appointed time, please call the Library (215-947-5138) to reschedule. Minimal staff is in the building and we are not able to provide pick-up services without an appointment.

When you arrive at the circle by the main entrance, please call from your car to let us know you are there. Stay in your car until your Items are placed on a table just outside our front door. Please be sure your car is in park before you exit the car to retrieve books from the table.

You may continue to use the outside book drop to return items. All returned items will be quarantined for at least 72 hours prior to being checked in by our staff.

No fines will be accrued during this service period.
