March 9 Library Renovation Preliminary Design Presentation
The Huntingdon Valley Library has thrived for over 20 years in our current location, but this beautiful building is beginning to show its age! So in support of our strategic plan, the Library Board is working to re-imagine this space to serve the community’s needs for the next 20 years.
Through a core grant from the Community Design Collaborative, we worked with an amazing team of design professional volunteers to develop a preliminary, conceptual design for a library renovation.
We invite you to come see that design and learn more about the process on:
Monday, March 9
at 7 pm
in the Community Room
(625 Red Lion Road, top floor).
Our goal is to share our excitement with you about this project and the next steps needed to bring this dream to reality.
Heidi Segall Levy, Director of Design Services for the Collaborative, guided us through the grant process and supported us during this process.
Join us to hear from Lenhardt Rodgers Architecture + Interiors firm volunteers Deborah Seitz, Joyce Lenhardt, and Robert Shuman. Jackie Patterson, Matthew Price, and Sherri Smith from Lenhardt Rodgers also assisted with the interior design and renderings. Our team also included Steve Krumenacker and Vasiliki Sakagianni from Macintosh Engineering, Inc.; Kenneth Kauffman from Moore Engineering; and Mostafa Khard and Lance Rothstein from Hill International, Inc.
No RSVP necessary, but if you would like to let us know you are attending,
please register today!
