Windows 10 Coming Soon to a computer near you!

Microsoft is offering free upgrades to the Windows 10 operating system before July 29, 2016.  Because we strive to be fiscally responsible and like to be towards the leading edge of technology, we are taking advantage of this offer and will be upgrading our customer computers this upcoming weekend.  We will provide the “Full Windows 10 Experience” on two of the computer workstations and a modified “Retro Windows 7 Experience” on the remaining computers.

Know that we value your privacy and many of the new features of Windows 10 that are appropriate and helpful at home, may be disabled in our shared environment.  For the ultimate security solution, you can restart the computer after your session. This will completely erase your activities on that computer.  Let us know at the circulation desk, and we’ll make sure the computer is ready for the next customer.
