Weekly Rock Band Club for Teens

Teen Summer Reading 2018 | Libraries Rock!

Ever dream of being of a rock star? Drop in and jam with friends!

Fridays, June 29-August 3, from 2-3 pm

Valley Youth Center*

Open to youth entering grades 6-12. 

Join us in the Valley Youth Center to play video game Rock Band & be a rock star for a day! This highly interactive game will help you learn musical concepts and introduce you to the basics of playing guitar, bass, drums and singing on pitch. Work together to earn more points. No experience? No problem! The game is easy and fun, with four difficulty levels ranging from easy to expert. Light refreshments will be provided.

Rock Band Club happens weekly on Fridays during the Teen Summer Reading Program. Come to one session or all of them! No registration necessary.

Sessions on July 6 & 27 will be devoted to Beatles songs. All other sessions will feature songs from Rock Band 2. Rock Band games are rated Teen for lyrical content.

*Valley Youth Center is located on the lower level of the library. The entrance is outside the building near the back parking lot, between the library door and the back entrance to Red Lion Gym.
