Sesame Street Day!
Every year on November 10, we celebrate Sesame Street Day at the library. On that day in 1969, Sesame Street debuted on television and has since taught generations of young children how to count and their ABCs. Thanks to all the Sesame Street fans who made it to our special event!
We made Cookie Monster crafts,
Elmo crafts,
and played a game knocking over cans with Oscar the Grouch.
We played a game of hide and seek with Elmo to see which house he was hiding under. Can you guess where Elmo is?
My favorite station was Count with Count that let children count objects of different colors, shapes and textures. It was so fun to watch!
We had a great crowd to celebrate Sesame Street Day!
See you around the Library,
Miss Glynnis
