Summer Learning Program, June 22 – August 4, 2024

Join us for our Summer Learning Program! This summer’s theme, “Adventure Begins at Your Library,” celebrates outdoor adventures. Use Beanstack* (on the app or a web browser) to log your reading, log activities, write reviews, and submit tickets for prizes. Reading Challenges are available for all ages. Starting on June 22, sign up directly on Beanstack or visit the library to pick up a Summer Learning packet (available for children & teens) with information on how to join Beanstack, plus a few small goodies. If you have used Beanstack before, make sure to update children’s information in order to assure that they are entering the correct program!

Summer Learning Program dates:
June 22-August 4

*Paper logs will be available to those who prefer them or do not have internet access, but all information must be added to Beanstack in order to submit tickets for raffle prizes. You may add your own time into Beanstack or you can turn your paper logs in to staff at the Circulation Desk. All paper logs must be submitted to the library in person by close of business on Saturday, August 3 (earlier is better for staff!).

All prizes must be picked up at the library (we are unable to mail prizes).

The Summer Learning Program is sponsored by the Friends of Huntingdon Valley Library, with additional support from Arena STEM in Southampton, The Bucks County Children’s Museum, Crayola Experience, Create Me Pottery, Crossroads Comedy Theater, Dairy Queen of Bethayres, Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, Hick’s Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor, Mad Golfer Golf Club, Once Upon a Child, Philadelphia Rock Gyms, Sesame Place, Six Flags Great Adventure, and Storybook Musical Theatre.(If your organization would like to donate to our Summer Learning Program, please call Head of Youth Services Vanessa Nelson at 215-947-5138 or send email to
