Apply for a Library Card

About HVL > Apply for a Library Card

Access the Library Collection

Libraries in Pennsylvania receive State Aid based on the number of registered users residing in their taxing district. For this reason, individuals living within Lower Moreland Township may register for a library card at the Huntingdon Valley Library. Business owners paying property taxes within the Township may also register for a library card.

Individuals living outside the boundaries of Lower Moreland will need to register for a library card at a library in their local taxing district, for example at a branch of the Abington Free Library if he/she/they live in Abington Township. Once a library card has been provided from the taxing district, individuals can use that card to be registered at any other Pennsylvania Library to check out books and other materials or use the Internet at Huntingdon Valley Library.
