LIBRARY CLOSED — Chair Yogacise – Tuesdays 10:15 am

Join us for this gentle, unique exercise program that blends elements of non-impact aerobics, strength training, yoga postures, breathing, and guided relaxation.  Lead by Nadene Racek.

Everyone is welcome for this fun and energetic workout which will improve muscle tone, increase range of motion, elevate your heart rate, burn calories, and relieve stress and joint pain.


A chair is used for seated exercises and standing support and modifications offered depending on fitness levels.

When: Tuesday mornings @ 10:15am

Cost: $7 per class

Location: Community room, 2nd Floor

Minimum of 10 people needed to proceed ongoing.

Nadene Racek is a certified group exercise instructor who has been teaching for over 40 years. She has been practicing yoga since the early 1970’s and has always been drawn to the mind body connection.  Her teaching style is energetic and she pays particular attention to alignment, flexibility and breath with a focus on postures that benefit people with stiff joints due to arthritis.
