Check out the Teen Advisory Board Book Display!

Huntingdon Valley Library started a Teen Advisory Board, or TAB for short, a little over a year ago. Since then, this group of intelligent and creative high school students has grown from five to 16!

Members of TAB meet once a month to brainstorm ideas for Teen programs, prepare for Teen events and help with artistic Library projects. We had our most successful Teen Summer Reading events last summer, due to the input from our TAB group!

For one of their recent projects, members of TAB created a book display. Each member who chose to participate was given a shelf at the end of the Young Adult section to decorate and share some personal book recommendations.

Come in to look at their beautifully decorated shelves and check out one of their recommendations! The display will be up through the end of the school year.

We are so proud of the members of TAB and all that they’ve accomplished in the past year!

If you are in grades 9-12 and are interested in joining TAB, send an email to Youth Services Associate Vanessa at hvlys@mclinc.org.
