Susan Koelble bio: Before retiring, Susan was a Certified Professional Genealogist for 35 years, specializing in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. During that time, she served on the Board of the Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania and was a member of The Historical Society of Pennsylvania’s Genealogical Advisory Committee. She has also been a member of the Board of the Philadelphia Chapter DAR. Susan earned her degree in American Studies. As well as doing genealogical research, she has worked for people writing books, papers and television shows. Her favorite project was working on the documentary, “In Search of Sundance” that viewed on PBS. Her ancestry can be traced back to Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island in 1639.
