Amazon – Yes, Amazon!  If we are unsure about the spelling of an author or exact title, we start with Amazon to find the specifics we need. A great place for reader reviews, as well!

Good Reads – This site is built by a community of readers who post reviews, book lists, and much more. Registration required.

Kids and Teens:

Guys ReadGuys Read, a web-based literacy program for boys founded by author and First National Ambassador of Young People’s Literature Jon Scieszka.  Our mission is to help boys become self-motivated, lifelong readers.

School Library Journal – A sample of the reviews provided in this great journal are available for all to read.

YALSA’s Quick Picks for Reluctant Young Adult Readers – The Quick Picks for Reluctant Young Adult Readers list identifies titles aimed at encouraging reading among teens who dislike to read for whatever reason. The list selects both fiction and nonfiction.
