DIY: Making Mozzarella- Monday, March 15, 7 pm

Make Mozzarella in the comfort of your own kitchen! Join us on Zoom for a guided DIY!

Kits are available to pick up at the library on a first come, first serve basis for those registered, on March 8th, one week prior to the class.

Materials Provided:mozzarella (004)

  • Citric Acid
  • Vegetable Rennet
  • Salt
  • Cheese Cloth
  • Recipe

Please bring to the class the following:

  • One gallon of milk (no ultra-pasteurized)
  • stock pot (or another big pot) with lid
  • colander (preferred) or bowl
  • thermometer
  • measuring cups (1 cup and 1/4 cup)
  • Big spoon (slotted preferred)
  • microwave safe bowl
  • rubber gloves (optional)
  • water (non-chlorinated if possible, like spring water)
