DIY Teens – Chalk Chromatography Grab-N-Go Kit & Virtual Meet-Up

Welcome back! The first Grab-N-Go Kit and DIY Teens Project of fall is Chalk Chromatography. 

Grab-N-Go Kits

Teen Grab-N-Go Kits include supplies and instructions for a creative project. This set contains materials for a Chalk Chromatography science experiment and chalk art project. (Each participant will just need to supply their own rubbing alcohol). Once completed, you will have your own set of unique and colorful chalk to use for art and school, plus a very cool piece of art.

Register here to reserve your kit. Supplies are limited and registration is required.

For students in grades 6-12. 

Once reserved, kits can be picked up during our Grab-N-Go Service hours between September 29 and October 3. (Grab and Go Hours: Tu-W 4:30 to 6:30 pm, Th-Sat 12:30 to 2:30 pm)

DIY Teens Virtual Meet-Up

Thursday, October 1st – 7pm – Register

While each kit will come with instructions, participants are also encouraged to attend our DIY Teens Virtual Meet-Up, when we will gather together online to work on our projects. We will meet via Zoom to get started on our experiments, ask questions, and share the progress of our art.

You must register for this program to receive the Zoom link and password. When registering, please use the email address for which you’d like the invite and password to be sent on the day of the meet-up.  Registration is required and closes approximately two hours before the program begins.
