Join us at our Teen Summer Reading kickoff event to meet Young Adult author Christine Kendall.

Christine Kendall will visit us as part of the Montgomery County “One Book, One Author” Teen Author Tour. She will share her inspiration for her novel, Riding Chance.

Set in present-day Philadelphia and based on the local Work to Ride program in Fairmount Park, this debut novel follows the story of Troy, an inner city teen sentenced to work in the stables after committing a petty crime. 

Open to youth entering grades 6-12.

Pre-register for this exciting event to pick up your own free copy of Riding Chance to read beforehand or to receive one during the author’s visit. Ms. Kendall will be available for questions and book signing after her presentation. Book copies limited to first 35 registrants.
