Registration begins on

Monday, June 26

Visit our volunteers at the registration table, pick up your bag, grab the calendar of events, and start reading!

We have 12 Raffle baskets for the children’s summer reading program, gift cards and more for the teens, and a two raffle baskets (one with a NEW Kindle) for the adults!

  • Fight off summer learning loss by READING for FUN this summer
  • Our FUN Family Events on Wednesday evenings:  Philadelphia Zoo, Franklin Institute, Turtle Dance Music, Puppets Pizzazz, Ran’D Shine Magic Show, Sciencetellers, and the Closing party on August 16
  • Friday Family Movies
  • Preschool and Toddler Storytimes on Mondays and Tuesdays beginning June 26
  • Harry Potter Art Workshops (Limited to 20, determined by lottery)
  • LEGO Club, Block parties, Saturday Storytimes, and much more!

Teens:

  • Author visit with Graphic Novelist Matt Phelan on June 29
  • Then join us each Thursday at 6:30 for: Craft Night (fidget spinners), Edible Food Sculptures, Movie Night, Yoga Class, Taste the World and Game Show Games

Adults:

  • Support our Lower Moreland Business Partners to “Build a Better Community”
  • Pick up a raffle ticket and take advantage of discounts at participating businesses
  • Events, computer classes, poetry workshop, and a Guided Walking tour of the Pennypack
  • Special Adult Summer Book Clubs with Meghan – read a book, join the discussion, and make a craft!
  • August 19 Fundraiser at the Naked Brewing Company – Books and Brews beertasting for only $20!  Includes a pint glass.
