February Craft a Connection
If there was ever a need for a cover photo to represent the Craft a Connection Book Club, this picture would be it:
February’s Craft a Connection Book Club discussed the multi-award winning Brown Girl Dreaming by Jacqueline Woodson. I always strive for edible activities, so when I picked up on the numerous references to pancakes in the book, I thought it would be perfect to have the Crafters make pancakes from scratch. And it was perfect, until we *almost* set the fire alarm off. We didn’t burn anything, it just got a bit smokey. But look at that perfect stack of pancakes my Crafter is holding. I was told that “these are the best pancakes I have ever had.” I’m really glad they thought so.
The action and movement in these two photos are right on point.
The next Craft a Connection is on Wednesday, March 29 at 7:00 pm. We will be discussing A.A. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh. You can pick up the book at the circulation desk and register here.
See you around the Library,
Miss Glynnis
