Preschool Storytime Party

I love finding fun themes for preschool storytime. Today we celebrated Gingerbread House Day! No, we didn’t make gingerbread houses. And these aren’t gingerbread men, exactly. They are sugar cookie men/women, and the preschoolers in attendance had a blast decorating them.

A very special thanks to the Friends of the Huntingdon Valley Library. The Friends sponsor countless programs for the Youth Services department including the Summer Reading program, Rhythm Babies music classes, our supplies for storytimes (like this cookie party!), book clubs and countless programs we have here at the library year round. The Friends also contribute the majority of the budget spent on new books and materials for the children’s and teen collections. Simply put, our library would be a pretty boring place without their generous support.

See you next year, preschoolers.
