Thank you for helping us move forward. Your financial support helps us maintain this beautiful building and provide outstanding materials for you to borrow and quality programs for you and your family to attend.
January 17 Update:
Since the start of the campaign in mid-November, we have already reached 33% of our $30,000 goal! Next to the entrance, we have a thermometer keeping track of our progress. There are also sticky-notes for you to add your dreams and ideas to the board, letting us know what you would like to see in a renovated building.
Nov. 14 message:
In August, we asked “What improvements could be made to the library that would benefit the community?” You and your neighbors had a lot to tell us, including:
- Don’t stand still. Keep upgrading activities and inventory to meet tomorrow’s needs.
- Café area indoors with some outdoor seating in summer.
- Programs for kids more than once a week!
- More copies of current books.
- More lectures and learning experiences.
- More parking.
The message is loud and clear – you want more! With your dollars, we can continue to respond to each request for more with a “Yes!”
For 2017, the Board of Trustees is eager to begin our next exciting challenge—tackling interior renovations. After 20 years of use, our beautiful library building needs to be remodeled with new flooring, quiet spaces, and energy efficient upgrades. The first planning steps will be funded through donations and private funds.
Your donation this year not only brings literacy, learning, community building, and enjoyment to you, your neighbors and friends, but it will also ensure that this stately building can serve the community for years to come.
