Dec. 1 Teen Reading Lounge Poetry Pizza Party

Teen Reading Lounge

Join us for the final Teen Reading Lounge Poetry Pizza Party on Thursday, December 1 at 6:30 pm!

Poet and educator Lynn Levin leads this NO STRESS discussion group for Teens in grades 6-8. We will read works by popular and up-and-coming poets and learn how to write fun, unique poems while enjoying free pizza and good company!

Registration is requested – Sign Up Today!

First 4 Teens to register (and did not receive the book at a previous session) will receive a free copy of Levin’s book, Poems for the Writing: Prompts for Poets. Additional YA books will be raffled off at the event.

At the most recent event on November 10, we read and had an insightful discussion about Curiosities by popular young adult author Beth Kephart. The Teens also wrote and shared two types of poems, one with a structure based on the Fibonacci Sequence and the therapeutic I-Hate poem which lists things the writer does not like.
