Join us for the next Teen Reading Lounge Poetry Pizza Party on Thursday, October 27 at 6:30 pm!

Poet and educator Lynn Levin leads this NO STRESS discussion group for Teens in grades 6-8. We will read works by popular and up-and-coming poets and learn how to write fun, unique poems while enjoying free pizza and good company!

First 9 Teens to register (and did not receive the book at the previous session) will receive a free copy of Levin’s book, Poems for the Writing: Prompts for Poets. Additional YA books will be raffled off at the event.

franconnis pizzaThe first Teen Reading Lounge Poetry Pizza Party was held on October 6. We had lively discussions about Ninth by Jerry Mirskin and The Frog Prince by YA author Melissa Jensen. The teens also wrote and shared a narrative poem and a Cameo Cinquain (a type of five-line poem) about someone else in the group.
